Jermaine Browne is a respected choreographer and teacher living in New York City. He has already launched an amazing 2009-2010 having just finished working on Leona Lewis’ Labryinth tour in the UK. He wrapped up a great 2009 choreographing the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, an honor he has held now two years consecutively. In the last year he has also choreographed for Louis Vuitton and created a signature dance for The Heineken “Green Synergy” campaign.
Jermaine continues to work all over the world, earlier this year choreographing Greek superstar Anna Vissi’s arena show for her world tour. He also worked on Leona Lewis’ first solo show in London and in addition choreographed her performance for the London version of So you Think you Can Dance. He also choreographed 40 dancers for the British Music Awards before going on to set Nike’s fashion show in Manchester, England. In addition, he choreographed music videos for Europe’s famous pop group, Infernal as well as DJ Fresh’s recent work, “Hypercaine”.
Jermaine’s career took off when he was discovered as a performer in a Blockbuster/Visa commercial with Cindy Crawford, which led to commercial work with Gap, Nike and Toyota. This success led to his break through video creation “Genie in a Bottle” for Christina Aguilera, and Jennifer Lopez’s music video “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.” These music videos led to future work at the 2005 European MTV Music Awards, including the holographic performance by the Gorillaz and Boret and his first work with the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2006, where he co-choreographed the opening for Justin Timberlake.
Jermaine discovered his true passion for choreography while teaching at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. The unique combination of strength and sensuality in his work has captured the attention of the music industry and continues to open doors for future success.
